Fernweh is a lifestyle travel magazine meant for the wanderers who want to immerse themselves in a new culture, and avoid the cliches of visiting a popular destination. Fernweh is German for a feeling of homesickness when not traveling — the magazine encompasses the missing piece the traveler regains from their experience abroad. The logotype for the magazine was created in my previous typography course in Darmstadt, Germany. The omitted letter forms resemble missing pieces of the traveler. *Mock interactive digital magazine designed in my Type IV course.
